The most common stimulant on the market today, Caffeine is used by 80-90% of Americans on a daily basis .
Caffeine is found in coffee, tea, diet and regular sodas, and many drinks and foods. It is all natural and can quickly stimulate increased awareness, increase pulse, cause high blood pressure, and is responsible for increased stomach acid which can cause many long-term stomach problems. Most people realize they have an addiction to caffeine, but do not view this addiction as a problem.

It is a problem if someone plans their day around a cup of coffee, or a pot of it for that matter or must have a Diet Coke before they take any calls at the office. If someone feels like they cannot carry out daily tasks without first consuming caffeine, it’s a problem.

This guy's had one too many mountain dews...he needs to be in school to learn more than three- and four-letter foul words. Good luck, dude...you need it. On another note, what if you only drink caffeine in the a.m. and don't drink soda or tea or coffee for the rest of the day. Are you still addicted if you have an a.m. coffee?

80% of people addicted to any drug doesn't sound healthy. What did humans do before caffeine was discovered? Do any other animals depend on a stimulating substance in order to get through their day? Caffeine is, essentially, a poison used by a plant for self defence.
