I dont hear voices or see things I just have a fear of being alone in my home and I have a fear of the unknown-such as ghosts-just being alone is very creepy to me and I panic I cant take it after a while and I have to leave the house I need to know what phobia I have and how to take care of it please

I THINK MY BROTHER IS SUFFERING FROM PERINOID SCHIZOPHRENIA AND I WANT TO HELP HIM BUT HE DOESN'T WANT ME TO HELP HIM, HE IS BECOMING A DANGER TO HIMSELF AND TO OTHERS AND IS BECOMING VIOLENT AND THINKS THAT PEOPLE ARE FOLLOWING HIM AND WATCHING HIM ALL THE TIME. HE HEARS VOICES INSIDE HIS HEAD AND OUTSIDE HIS HEAD, HE IS CONSTANTLY FIGHTING WITH THEM. HE IS CURRENTLY IN JAIL FOR SETTING HIS TRUCK ON FIRE. HE TELLS ME THAT SOMEONE PUT A MICROPHONE AND SPEAKERS AND A CAMERA IN HIS TRUCK AND WAS TALKING TO HIM AND WATCHING HIM AND HE FREAKED OUT AND SET THE TRUCK ON FIRE. MY OTHER BROTHER WANTS TO HAVE HIM COMMITTED AGAINST HIS WILL BUT I DON'T WANT TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE FOR HIM. HE IS CURRENTLY ON MEDICATION BUT I DON'T THINK IT IS THE RIGHT MEDICATION FOR HIM. PLEASE HELP ME!!

I had beed diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder with D.I.D It has been over 4 years within the last year have I remembered some of it. I refused medication because of side effects and I had the desire to remember and search my thoughts as much as possible to remember why. So much appears to be delusional along with reality based occurances.I suppose at the time to seperate myself from these abuses I had inverted to an imaginary world. I am assuming that endorphins(?) may have also played a roll from the state of fear. I would then suspect that this may explain the D.I.D. and lost time episodes.

my brother was perfectly fine before he went to jail. he was in and out of the system for a least 3 to 4 times since his first arrest. he came out messed up/ something definately happened to him while he was incarcerated. can i figure out what happen to him?

My little brother is 20- he was diagnosed with paranoid skitzophrenia.He is displaying all of the same symptoms as your brother. Everyone wants to just lock him up in a mental inst. and it seems that I can't find help anywhere.putting him in there may not be the best decision, as it makes matters worse, we have to find a solution that works for him and everyone else. it is hard not having any resources. I feel so very alone at times. isn't there anyone that can help and not judge?
