crack cocaine Reply to this Comment My daughter needs help with getting off this drug and has no job, insurance or money. She is 40 and has not been able to work for over a year.We are unable to pay for a recovery center for her and need help asap.Please help. Please Help! drug addiction Reply to this Comment I am a professional in the medical field who cannot stop using drugs without help from an outside source. I feel helpless , hopeless, and lost. Can't do an inpatient treatment due to job responsibilities...are there any good outpatient centers available? I wan't to start living and enjoying life again and stop hating myself. I'm a flight nurse with a lot of responsibility and do fine at work but when I get home I don't know what my purpose is. Any help out there? Thanks in advance for any info provided. no help for addiction Reply to this Comment My daughter is an addict that wants badly to get off of the drugs. She has applied to the State MH Ins who has denied her. She is also bipolar. She is in need of medication and a drug rehab and long term treatment. She has been to the emergency room who sends her home with a list of detox to call. She calls and they say we don't take free care or we have a long waiting list. We have applied to MH Ins and they denied her. We apealed and they say free care is good just go to the emergency room for care and they will have to put you in a detox. Well they don't. Each place sends you somewhere else. They all want to wash their hands of you if you don't have insurance. We can't afford to pay of my adult daugters care. She at this point is homeless. I don't know what to do. These agencies are leaving are children out their to die. criminal justice / needs to be in a rehab!! Any Help for cutter/depressive and anxiety disorders Reply to this Comment My daughter has been diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety disorder/possibly borderline bi-polar. The way all of this was discover was about a year ago, I found out that she was cutting her wrists. She had been in a hospital to get help, and it did. But since then (1 year) we have had to up her meds twice and she is going through the sever depression stage again. I need a support group...TEENS for her to talk to....Can anyone recommend any? He is trying to get better but he's doing it on his own and he keeps falling back into the habit. He's just not strong enough to pull it off on his own. He'd check himself into a rehab center but he has no money because he's in between jobs. My sister is trying to help him but they still need professional help. Could any body tell me of a rehab center that is low cost but effective, I really want to help her help him... She has gotten herself into trouble... she's currently in a county jail awaiting sentencing. She has been denied access to a program in her area that will help her rehabilitate because of a felony charge from a year ago. The second program is for substance abuse, but her lawyer tells me that they probably won't take her because there is no such history with her. She is a teen that has fallen in with the wrong crowd but she has managed thus far to stay away from drugs. I am desperate to get her home to Texas but have no idea where to start. I want to get her into an inpatient program here... she needs therapy to deal with what she has survived in such a short amount of time NOT JAIL. She needs to come home. addicted Reply to this Comment My son has been on a lot drugs , alchol, and over the counter presc., street drugs, I really dont know what to do. The system has charged him over and over with fines to pay (this is what it is about) no one cares where he gets it from, for this plus, disorderly conduct many times caused from his addiction, he has been ordered to go to get help by his probation officer, why dont our police or people in charge do something about this huge problem with drugs on the streets across america.Its too much money being passed to the people in charge. | ||||||||
