Hey waz up every1?? and yes my real name is Barbie.... I just wanted to speak from an addicts point of view.... as bad as it might sound, and with all its consequences.... Meth is the most popular drug out there today, and yes it even beats Heroine.... just cuz its availability, Price, effects, and just out of curiosity.... but when you go to try something 4 the 1st time u never think of the bad things about it.... u tell urself itll never happen 2 me or just this 1 time.... but once u do it, ur instantly hooked.... well @ least I was.... and for those of u out there like my dad who cant 4 the life of them understand addiction,,,, its not something u can just overlook, and since meth also numbs all physical and mental feelings instantly, it makes life and all its impossible situations and pains dissapear, and 4 those moments that ur on it, u feel invincible and 4 once able 2 do anything that was impossible before, and that alone is a feeling that most users have always wanted, so they never wanna come down n face reality again cuz reality hurts, and theyre reminded of how powerless they really are.... so before u point a finger 2 judge us, remember u dont know our story behind our addiction.... and we dont judge u.... I just wanted 2 take that time 2 speak for all those out there like me who dont know how 2 get that across 2 u "Normal" People.... this drug is just about to ruin my marrige. my wife has lost about 60 lbs. she hasn't been herself for months. she tells me she has been reaching for help and support from me for a long time.Not being a user i didn't know the signs. it feels she is blaming me for every problem she has had since the beginning of time. I have tried to bear the weight and in doing so some of my own past demons have risen to the surface. ? is there a way to approach the conversation to help them choose to seek help. knowing trying to force them does not work!!!!!!

Iam trying to get my son Eric into teen challenge. He is in hilo hi and in jail until May of next year. The judge said something to the fack that if can put him into teen challenge she will let him out early. I want my son in teen. God is waiting for him there and its just a matter of time when we can get him in. Can anyone help me getting him in hopely in texas because we live in oklahoma and want him close to us. Hello, my name is Diane, I am an addict. I have lost my than I can say right now. I am at a loss of where to go right - now for my son. He is in court in Siskiyou , Co. Cali. He is 19 yrs old.It's so bad that you have to get in trouble with the law before one gets help.My son has been running for a long time. Now he is faceing jail time.He needs and WANTS recovery.I'm at a loss to what to do to help him. We do know he needs long term, live -in Recovery House. The nature of the Beast,is telling him all the demonic lies it has to tell. No one cares, no love,ect.By the Grace of love and God he showed up at my door,2 days ago. He is depleated. For him to come hear was a Big Step!...I took him to see people that he hadn't seen for years. He was over whemed with the Greaf of the situation. We have addiction on both sides of the familey.His real soul is a sweet, gental, loveing kid. Like most addicts.I want him some where around Butte, Co. California...so I can go/be with him at the NA meetings. any sugestions would help. He has been on Meth a long time. Thinking no one knew, we all knew. But he would run. I feel so despart, I lost my step daughter, and my older sons best friend in the same day, just hours apart. That was 2 years ago. My step son is doing 25-life on a 3rd strike.Dacota/Cody...is still so saveable.I pray I can find that help. God bless all of you still strugling with this horid infliction.I pray for you all!... I am an addict.I want you to know it doesn't ever get better,only worse.For 6 years,I've smoked,and now I have run out of chances.I was making $50,000 a year.Now,I must provide a drug test before I can go back to work.That was 2 months ago,I desperately know I just gotta stop,but meth just screws all reasoning with your mind,and I put it off always on tomorrow.I was starting a relationship with a co-worker about 2 years ago,and this guy didnt do any drug/smoke,and he really was the one that gave me a reason to quit before.When he had enough of my lying and manipulation,I turned to the only one who would listen,be there for me:Meth.Now,I am worse than before.Money was a problem,even though I was making good money.And I am paying $100 per 8-ball,so it wasn't just the cost of the drug.It was the trips to 24hour walmart,Target everyday,starbucks,etc.So just pray for your soul and quit before your luck runs out,because I have yet to meet anybody whose luck hsn't,.

Hi Barbie! I have never used meth before but I have smoked pot. I know they're different drugs but what you wrote about feeling like you can do things that you couldnt do before touched me. I smoked pot for about 3 years and i had those same feelings. I was in college, but some how, eve throughout my life, I never felt like i was able to do things-especially not great things. I want you to know that you ARE capable of anything you want to do or be! Here's a thought: "what would you do if you knew you wouldn't fail?" As difficult as it is, sometimes our families, our environments, or even our friends can hold us back or bring us down without us even being aware of it! That's what i found out. Not to be giving you advice b/c u sound like a smart young lady, but if you want, maybe do a little "soul searching" and see if there is something in your life that makes you feel the way you do. Just being aware of those things helps a lot! I've done every drug there is and meth took ahold of me in which case I lost my job,my marriage, my home and even every bit of my personal belongings (the cops took it and burned it while I was in jail). I was in jail fo 2=1/2 months with a $35,000 bond..looking at 7 years. I was 39 at the time. Still to this day I jonz it every now and then...thank God I have my husband that keeps me from doing it. I gave 5 years of my life to meth half the time smoking it and the last half slamming it. Now...2-1/2 yrs later I am having ALOT of pretty serious health issues and I am on alot of mental health meds. Needless, to say I am still alive....I had a 9mm to my forhead, my truck stolen, I thought I had alot of friends but TWEAKERS ARE NOT FRIENDS! I wish everyone trying to quit the devils drug had such an understanding "someone" in their life like I do or i would still be using. Having that special someone is better than any in patient or out patient rehab...trust me!

My name is Nicole, and I am sixteen years old. Ive been using meth for the last ten months and in that ten months I dropped out of school and ran away from home. I entered a world of tweekers that was ugly, but they were my friends or so I thought. I was the youngest out of all of them and a girl. Other people would see me hanging out with middle aged men and thinking about it its embarassing cause it was totally obvious that i was tweeking cause of how it affected the way i looked and the people i was seen with everyday. My so called best friend was the one who got me hooked, I mean we were sick with it, 8-ball every other day. I was loosing my mind and now i want to stop but my friend isnt going to. after all the shit i have seen and been apart of i looked in the mirror and dont like the person i have becom.

I am a 33 yr old mother of 4 and I started using coke in august powder coke. aug sept oct i used in small amounts everyday. then in nov and dec i didnt use. Always a "friend" close by to jump off something. On new yrs eve I was invited to share an ounce and almost killed my daMN FOOL SELF! now im afraid bcuz since i started back ive been binging. ill go 1 week and a half with nuthin and then do an 8th or quarter alone. im losing my mind and i have no family to tunrn to and on top of it all im emotionally killin my kids. they were use to me being one of those "normal" people Barbie was talkin about. hello i was a crack addict 3 yrs ago . i use to smoke all my money up . i been homeless i dont know how many times .lost numerous jobs and so many thangs due to my crack addiction . i can only say da day i ammitted my self to the hospital and said can u please help me really changed my life .i went to a rehab center for 9 months . ammited my self in to a rehab center and stayed in in patient care.it was scarey at first but then they ammited me to a regional center . and it really helped . u know u can change . u need self comfidence to change . i use to put my self down every day and finally i did change . u know drugs are so bad if u dont get help u are hurting your self and others . like ur family and ur kids . u know u got to pray to da higher up and say please help me fight this beast (drugs). u can change .believe me i did . and i hope i can help others. if u need help please get da help u need .it will do u good . and u will get a reward for it (LIFE) thanks
