DEPRESSANTS USE SIGNS
Teenagers abusing depressant might seem to be in a condition of intoxication a lot like that of alcohol, with loss of motor skills, slurred speech, impaired judgment and inebriation. Some more symptoms include slow or rapid but shallow breathing, cold and clammy skin, and a weak and rapid pulse.
In order to achieve the same high always the body needs to increase the doses of depressants as what it happens with narcotics. To achieve the similar intoxicating effects sometimes teenagers unknowingly increase dependency on depressants.
These increases in their intake lead them to toxic and dangerous levels.
The intake of these depressants calms down their anxiousness and helps them sleep. Sleeping pills, alcohol and tranquilizers can have same effect but depends on how much you intake. These types of drugs can cause death and unconsciousness if high dose is taken.
The use of all depressants regularly for a long period of time makes a person addictive and to get the same effect, doses are increased. If users stop taking their doses of drugs suddenly then they may develop symptoms, which include physical withdrawal ranging from insomnia, restlessness and anxiety to seizure and death.
