The biggest health risk in using the drug Gamma Hydroxybutyrate is that you never will know what is it that you are taking. Taking too much of this drug can be fatal. Amateur chemists at home mostly prepare this drug and you can never be sure of its purity. Kitchen sink chemistry often leaves behind toxic compounds, the least dangerous effects of which can be burnt throats and mouths.
Gamma Hydroxybutyrate generally shows its effects about 5 to 20 minutes after taking it in. The effects usually last for about one and half to three hours only, though the effects can be prolonged indefinitely if the dosing is repetitive. The effects of the drug depend greatly on the dosage. Even small increases in the ingested amount can significantly intensify its effects.
The drug results in lowering of inhibitions, similar to alcohol in moderate doses. Low doses of the drug often induce a pleasing state of tranquility and relaxation. Its frequent effects may be mild euphoria, sensuality, a tendency to talk or placidity. The user’s inhibitions and anxieties may dissolve into a feeling of well being, pleasant drowsiness and emotional warmth. Gamma Hydroxybutyrate appears to lack the unpleasant ‘morning after’ effects of other relaxation-oriented drugs or alcohol.
