    THE EFFECTS OF HASHISH USE

    Hashish can cause short period effects like:

     

     

    -         Desire to have sweets or munchies (term used by the users of hashish)

    -         Rise in the heart rate

     

    -         Drying of mouth and throat

     

    -         Weakening of memory and concentration

     

    -         Pupils dilating

     

    -         Paranoia

     

    -         Change in perception

     

    -         Tranquility

     

    -         Reddening of eyes

     

    -         Constipation

     

    -         Unclear speech

     

    -         Inflexibility of muscles

     

    -         Diarrhea

     

    -         Nausea

     

    -         Concentration, perception, driving skill, steadiness of the users is weakened.

     

    -         The users will feel calm, dizzy, peaceful and talkative.

     

    -          Sound will become clearer, colors will become brighter and improvement in the sensory perception will occur

     

    -         Increase in appetite, pupils’ size, rate of pulse and reaction time.

     

    -         Distortion of the sense of space and time.

     

     

    With the increase in the use of has the following effects are felt:

     

     

    -         Few users may withdraw

     

    -         Anxiety

     

    -         Laughing impulsively

     

    -         Depression

     

    -         Hallucination

     

    -         Panic response

     

    -         Paranoia

     

    -         Depression

     

     

    Those who have psychiatric disorders (especially schizophrenia) will go through extreme effects.

     

                                                                                      

     

    The long-term effects of this drug are:

     

     

    -         Education accomplishment may suffer

     

    -         Damage of the respiratory system due to smoking

     

    -         Reduced sperm count, irregular menstrual cycle, congenital abnormalities is also likely.

     

    -         Psychosis, panic responses; weakening of drive, motivation and ambition.
