HOW INHALANTS ARE USED
A substance used to sniff in through the nose or used in the mouth is referred to as inhalants. There are a number of ways in which inhalants can be used like:

- Breathing in from balloons containing nitrous oxide.
- Inhaling or breathing fumes from containers.
- Huffing from an inhalant-soaked rag put in to the mouth.
- Snorting or inhaling fumes from substances sprayed or placed inside a bag made of paper or plastic.
The lungs in take the chemicals that are sniffed inside to the bloodstream quickly. Afterwards it is allocated to the various organs and the brain. The users will become intoxicated in addition to the occurrence of other effects that resembles the alcohol-produced effects. Inability to manage movements, unclear speech, giddiness and euphoria are some of the effects produced by alcohol. Apart from these, the users will experience delusions, lightheadedness and hallucinations too.
As the intoxication lasts only for a few minutes, the users usually use inhalants frequently to extend the high. This practice is regarded as a very risky habit. The users can lose consciousness and may even die if they continue using the inhalants continuously. The users will lose control and inhibitions, at the least. It is very normal for the users to feel sleepy for a few hours and get a persisting headache after using too much of inhalants.
