    THE HISTORY OF ISOBUTYL NITRITE

    The primary use of Isobutyl nitrite is to enhance the sexual pleasure as it is a recreational drug. These types of drugs are also known as the whippets, snappers and poppers on the streets.

     

     

    The isobutyl nitrites are the esters of nitrous acid that have a fruity odor and are called poppers as because of the sounds made when the glass capsules having amyl nitrite are crushed. 

     

     

    The organic nitrites like isobutyl nitrate (ISBN) is an impulsive esters of the nitrous acid that was introduced during the 1800s as the therapeutic means for the relief from severe attacks of angina pectoris.

    It occurs as they could abate the uneasiness associated with the disease by lowering the arterial tensions. The isobutyl nitrate (ISBN) is not marketed as the anti-anginal compound.

     

     

    The drugs like isobutyl nitrite have become very famous street drugs used mainly to change intensify sexual experiences, enhance meditation and consciousness. Deep inhalations of the nitrites in humans have been reported to make unclear smooth muscle relaxation.
