Researches find that habitual use of THC or marijuana sometimes causes special types of cancer and some respiratory and immune system disorder.
Cancer
It is not yet proved that whether this drug is directly related to cancer or not. Although, it is a known fact that marijuana has some amount of the cancer-producing chemicals that are found in tobacco smolder, and sometimes the amount is found to be more. The harmful chemical intake by smoking of five joints per day is equivalent to smoking a full pack of cigarettes.
Airways and Lungs
The cigarette smokers who suffer from some typical breathing problem are also similar to marijuana smokers like breathlessness and coughing. The users easily catch more colds of the chest than those who don’t use. Also they are more prone to lung infections such as pneumonia and other diseases.
Immune System
Tests carried on animals prove that THC harms the tissues and cells that help defend against various diseases. If the immune system is damaged a person becomes more vulnerable to diseases.

...has anyone that has submitted this information actually SMOKED marijuana? I for one have no distress while "cracking problems and thinking"; in fact, I find it helps me focus; I also have INCREASED motor synchronization. and, last I noticed, my heart wasn't beating any faster; in fact, it often has a lower beat rate because I'm relaxed and not distressed. And I agree with vrakatar: what does "hazy insight" mean exactly? that's a rather vague description. And why not post the positive effects, such as RELIEVES PAIN, DECREASES NAUSIA and ENCOURAGES APPETITE, especially in CANCER PATIENTS undergoing CHEMOTHERAPY? And that's just the tip of the iceberg, as it were. Score one for slanted views on behalf of medical science. Methinks there should be a little less bias here.
