Mescaline or peyote can be used in spiritual rituals. Moreover, the people of the Central and Native American tribes took peyote so that they can be nearer to God.
At present, mescaline is available on the street as a drug that is used for fun and excitement. The cost of this drug doesn’t come cheap, as its production is costly.
Hence, mescaline, which is available on the streets, is not the real mescaline. Substances like LSD and PCP have been used to imitate mescaline or peyote. According to a study on the sale of mescaline in the metropolitan cities reported that less than 17 per cent of this substance is actually mescaline and the others are all fake ones.
This drug is considered as an essential drug in the sense that when the Native American tribes used it, it led to disputes between the Imperialistic European Catholics and the local people. The Catholics banned mescaline as a whole. On the other hand, the local people carried on using it and as a result it scattered to the United States and farther north.The feud between the Central and the Native Americans as well as Europeans made what the drug is at present.
