With the use of MDMA the pulse rate and blood pressure of a person rises, usually mildly like exercising moderately. It is due to this reason and because of the fact that this drug can stimulate a cardiac response in some people that some people (who have history with heart problems and high blood pressure) are warned not to take MDMA or to begin with much less quantity than the normal dosage. The use of this drug can also be indicated by kidney or liver problems.
Provided the user is ware of MDMA’s effects on his body, this drug is considered to be quite safe.
Look out for side effects (like dehydration overexertion, faintness, muscle cramps and tiredness) as the euphoria caused by the drug makes it easy to overlook certain physical distress signs. Make sure you take in lots of water.
If a person takes large amount of MDMA then it will lead to panic attacks, muscle cramps, rise in blood pressure or pulse rate. In this situation, make sure you sit down, relax and drink water or gatorade-type sports drink or fruit juice. There are also rare cases where some people have a more serious response (like unconsciousness or seizures). At such a situation, seek for medical help immediately.
