This drug is just like amphetamines as the duration and nature of its effects are same and it also stimulates the central nervous system. Those users who take injections of this drug put themselves at more risk as blood vessel can be obstructed due to the insoluble fillers in methylphenidate. Moreover, they put themselves at the risk of HIV, hepatitis B and C and other blood-borne diseases.
