EFFECTS OF NARCOTICS USE

To what extent drug will effect depends on how it is administered, whether he has experienced drug before and also on what the user expects. Apart from it’s use as a cough cure, pain reliever to check diarrhea this narcotic often makes the user in a state of euphoria with a temporary relief from hostility, tension anxiety, worries. This drug popularly known as recreational drug is helpful when they are applied for medical reason and make the user dependent.

Narcotic users have to face so many problems as the after effect of consumption.

Respiratory depression being the most important there and various effects like insomnia, dizziness, nausea, constipation, vomiting lethargy, apathy, construction of the pupils, dilation of blood vessels just underneath skin causing reddening of neck and face. The toxic effect intensifies with the over dose. But the coordination of motor and the speech do not get effected except in cases of extreme intoxication (like many patients of depression addicted to alcohol or sedatives.

Slumber, euphoria, nausea, constricted pupils hypoxia are the symptoms of narcotic /opioid overdose whereas convulsion, coma are the signs of users taking narcotics   with other drugs.
