THE EFFECTS OF PCP USE
The physiological results of PCP consist of a rise in three things: blood pressure, pulse rate and breathing. These results take place when PCP is taken at low or moderate quantities. The user’s breathing may become small and he or she may sweat a lot along with flushing. Moreover, the user may not be able to use his or her muscle normally and it can also lead to severe numbness.
Respiration, pulse rate and blood pressure will fall if PCP is taken in large quantities. Moreover, faintness, imbalance, drooling, unclear vision, vomiting and nausea may also take place. Excess quantity of PCP can also cause spasms; coma and it can also take the life of the user. However, death usually takes place because of suicide or unplanned injuries when a person is under the influenced of PCP. Taking large quantities can also cause schizophrenia-like symptoms like unclear thinking, hallucinations, detachment, catatonia, delusions and paranoia. A person’s speech becomes less and distorted.
Those who have been abused by PCP for quite a long period suffer from weight loss, depression, and loss of memory, distorted thinking and speech. All these can extend to a period of one year after discontinuing the use of PCP. Moreover, the mood of the users will also be affected. A person can suffer from coma if he combines PCP with substances, which can depress the central nervous system like benzodiazepines or alcohol. This is because PCP has a soothing effect on a person.
