Disorganization is the main problem noticeable in ADD patients without hyperactivity. An inattentive ADD patient can be recognized by messy handwriting, messy desk, messy room etc. such problems should be considered immediately as they might turn chronic and severe.
Socially too, such patients face a problem.
Normally they cannot make small talks, so they tend to withdraw, as they are conscious of the rules of social interaction. A period of time is required to regroup and recharge by patients suffering from inattentive ADD.
Unfortunately such cases mostly remain undiagnosed because hyperactivity being a common symptom to so many things the possibility of ADD does not the cross the mind of mental health professionals, teachers and parents. In an inattentive ADD patient the first symptom will be anxiety and depression becomes a complicated factor. A long and complex road has to be unraveled by a person diagnosed with ADD to become healthier.
