    ADD Drugging Addiction

    For the Treatment of ADD most of the medications used under the U.S. DEA Plan scheme are schedule II drugs. There is more possibility of these drugs being abused because these are influential stimulants a few as dominate as cocaine.

    Arguments for recommending these drugs to teenagers and youngsters have been raised, still, it has been designated by researchers that there are less chances of ADD sufferers treated with stimulants to abuse any stuff rather than those untreated. Essentially, it doesn’t indicate the matter of drugs being abused by treated patients. Drugs addiction is more likely common in patients treated with ADD by means of the above-mentioned stimulant. Some Patients having prescriptions which gives them right to use the drugs, abuse it by sharing it among friends or selling it. The misuse of Ritalin among school children has become so trendy that it has been named the “Kiddie cocaine” out of its popularity. These drugs show symptoms such as increase in levels 0f activity, increased sex drive, feelings of intense joy, ability to focus and contemplate for hours, loss of insomnia and enthusiasm. Death can be caused due to overdoses in a few cases. While prescribing for such medications awareness regarding the arising problems is essential. Addictions can be prevented by usual checks to the prescribed doctor. Medications and all drugs should be kept out of children’s reach.
