    ADHD CHILD AND SCHOOL

Normally parents have a lot of expectations from the teachers of their kids at school but if the child is suffering from a disease like ADHD, the expectations definitely increase. Teachers are surely very responsible but you expect them to be a bit too careful about your child and understand the problem they are going through. As a parent you want the teacher to keep in regular touch with you telling you about the progressment of your child. The teacher should also be very cheering and encouraging and clear with their aims.

Fickle mindedness in a teacher is the last expected.

Children with ADHD disease are very poor with their concentration. Their minds keep rotating everywhere. The teacher should have enough patience to explain certain things over and over again. The teacher should be completely cooperative with the nature of the child keeping in mind that it is undergoing a treatment.

Even though the teacher is very supportive, but it is the parents who play the real role of a friend, philosopher and guide. No one can understand their child better than the parents. The parents should be educated enough to understand what their child is going through. Have an open talk with the school authorities regarding your child and have the spirit to fight back in case they fail to understand your situation. Never make compromises when it comes to the education of your child. Their education is their security for the future.
