ADHD JUVENILE BEHAVIOR
Anger is a very common problem of ADHD but the cause of it should always be learnt. There are several kinds of psychiatric diseases, which can give rise to symptoms like mood swings and violent behaviors.
To conduct an examination and rule out the cases of depressive, psychotic or bipolar disorders producing neurobehavioral symptoms is the first step. Sometimes a premeditated violent behavior, which is actually a result of a conduct behavior, is misconstrued as a reaction of temper.
A temper reaction may lead to a permanent psychiatric problem, which may be a premonition of an antisocial personality, and this has to be ruled out, as well. The thing that has to be made sure is that the patient's violent behavior is not a result of some extenuating forces like defending bullies at school and revenging for teasing.
Last but not the least we need to handle the problem arising from substance abuse that ignites the temper. When these situations are carefully attended and eliminated then a child's violent attitude and explosive rage can be treated as a pathological disorder and the acute cause has to be detected and taken care of, accordingly.
