In the past not many schools were very interested in getting students suffering from ADHD into their schools. But law has made itself very clear that not without a valid reason can such a child be refused into the school. Parents have a lot of options to fight back if their child is refused admission without a valid reason.

The parents of the children suffering from ADHD have a variety of options to seek help.

There is the presence of a Parent Training Information center and Protection and Advocacy agency in every state that looks after the needs of worried parents and helps them in all possible ways to get it solved.

It is the duty of every school to plan for an Individualized Educational Program that would work according to the strengths and weaknesses of an ADHD student and it is a must with the parents that they should evaluate it sometimes. Schools appoint new teachers. Normal students have not much of a problem but its never easy for the ADHD sufferers. They need help and support. They need to be encouraged that they can also do all that is done by the other students.
