Though sugar does not cause ADHD, it is known that a high dose of sugar trigger hyperactivity even in children with no ADHD. Sugar must be avoided as much as possible. It is advisable to hand out inedible items as prizes and gifts in the party.
Usually children with ADHD face difficulties in making and maintaining friendships. Under the stress of the whole party, it might happen that they become oblivious about greeting the guests or bidding them goodbye. This embarrassing situation can be avoided by rehearsing your little ones from beforehand how to greet and bid a goodbye to the guests.
