    ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION AND SCHOOL

Most of the parents have the idea that their disturbed teens will be dealt in a better way in specialty boarding school than in the alternative day schools. A number of specialty boarding schools are established such as therapeutic, Christian and military.

Whatever the type may be these specialty boarding schools are highly planned facilities that are capable of providing aid to troubled teens that are undergoing serious problems and need supervision most of the time as well.

Generally Christian boarding schools take care of requirements of children utilizing a Christian philosophy.

Military schools can give aid to teens that suffer from trivial issues or those who prefer more discipline and structure. However it should be noted that these boarding schools do not plan to offer help for serious issues. Even when a disturbed teen gets admitted then they cannot support the child that is needed for the emotional development and change of the child. In extreme cases of troubled teens when therapy is desirable the treatment programs and therapeutic boarding schools are advised. These schools may cost more but usually the results are better here as they give therapeutic component that requires individual therapy sessions and group sessions or sometimes unison of the two.
