    ADOLESCENT DRUG ABUSE

It is very common among teenagers to have drug abuse. In the future, the drug abuses can lead to dreadful consequences. Studies state that a large proportion of deaths of persons in the range of 15-24 years are because of direct or indirect buses of drug or alcohol. These kinds of abuses can pave the path for violent crimes like murder, rape or assault! It is common for some people to take drugs to evade stress and depression.

When you notice that your teenage child is behaving in an unusual way or withdrawing himself from other family members, there are reasons enough to get suspicious. Even some physical signs are prominent- nagging cough, red eyes; changes in eating and sleeping pattern are also taken as signals of alarm.

Taking drugs has its tolls on the user’s performance and mood. Drugs may lead to pathetic performances in school, colleges and offices ultimately giving a way to a dismal state. Drug abuse among children can shake the vary foundations of family and friends and even destroy their family life.

Various types of drugs have different consequences on children. For example, anxiety, violent behavior, lethargy, signs of chronic bronchitis, frequent chest colds, teeth clenching, brain damage, dehydration, panic attacks, daily coughs, phlegm, an increased heart rate and even death.
