A common problem that can ruin the future lives of the teenagers is drug abuse. A vast majority of people in the age group of 15 to 24 dies because of reasons related to drug abuse or alcoholism. These abusive habits can result in more serious criminal activities like rape, assault and even murder. Many of the teenagers resort to the habit of taking drugs because of stress and hopelessness.
If any of your teenage family members behave erratically or tend to stay away from rest of the members of your family, that’s a reason enough for you to be suspicious. Other physical symptoms like persistent cough, red eyes and eating and sleeping disorders can also be considered to be signs of warning.
Teenagers who start to take drugs as an experiment tend to move very fast towards serious addictions if they do not possess adequate social skills or have someone addicted to drugs in their family. Even those teenagers without the history of drug abuse in their family can get totally addicted to drugs.
Drugs cause a variety of behavioral symptoms among teenagers including convulsions and muscle tensions, stress, lack of sleep, paranoia, irritations, violence, loss of memory, increase in heart rate, problems with learning, laziness, signs of acute bronchitis, panic attacks, regular cough and cold, dehydration, teeth clenching, hypothermia and may cause damage to brain and even result in death.
