ADOLESCENT BOARDING SCHOOL
Olden times have proven that disturbed teens from troubled families were sent to the boarding schools. Boarding schools had strict rules and regulations that were meant to foster strict discipline. Punishment was given to those students who would break these rules. Maybe the times have changed and nowadays all kinds of students from all type of backgrounds attend boarding school but still there are boarding schools for disturbed teens.
Problems like stress, suicide of teens, ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), disorder in conduct, bullying, violent, drug abuse, alcohol, depression problems in behavior, oppositional defiant disorders, disability in learning, improper diet, and other problems that a teenager may face, is being tackled by these special boarding schools. These schools are providing therapeutic programs so that the child overcomes these problems through personality development programs, therapy, counseling and other activities.
Depending on the requirements, these programs organized by the boarding schools last for few months or sometimes few years. Because of a smaller student-teacher ratio, more attention is offered to students also providing special programs to focus and deal with their problems along with maintaining proper setting for academics.
