AN ADOLESCENT RUNAWAY IS A CALL FOR HELP

It is a problem if your kid is a teen escapee. You must find out before concluding that the child is bad, what actually pushed the kid to this way. At first you must resolve with them the reason why they left.   

For this, you have to do few things.

At first, leave your anger before you enter the door and do not accuse. It is always better if you can communicate with them in a frank but fair way. Find out the reason of their leaving. Don’t demand answers or punish them and don’t shout at them. They will tell you if you ask them calmly.

You must tell them that it is dangerous to be an escapee teen. Make clear why this is not acceptable and also that you will not tolerate this again. They must be convinced that you will help them to work throughout their school problems, with you or with their peers so that they don’t have to be a runaway kid.    

Acquire help for them. They require proper physical examination. On the emotional perspective, they need the help of a child therapist to find out what the child wants   to resolve their problems or with you to make them stay at home safely. Actually, the main help for them will be to work side by side with you to find out the solution.
