WHAT TO DO WITH A RUNAWAY TEEN

The problem rises when the child is a runaway teen. It is wise to judge what made them take such a decision before concluding that they are bad children. In order to do this several things are needed. Accusing and anger should be stopped at first.

One has to have a fair and frank conversation with these children and then determine what made them leave. They should be helped and a proper physical examination is necessary for them. In order to keep them at home safely and to solve their problems emotionally they need to resolve with a child therapist. However the biggest advantage they will require is working alongside with you and thus determines the solution gradually. Situation like runaway teen is a call for assistance. However the teens cannot handle what is threatening their lives. They wish to escape either by hiding, running or starting over because something is pushing them to take such actions. One does not have to be an awful parent in order to face a teen who is runaway. However most will handle these and it is advisable to be a frank parent that would welcome the teen runaway back into their home and work on solving problems so that they will stay with their parents at home.
