Works very well. Better than any other meds.

This is a miracle drug. I do not know why it is so hard to obtain. Doctors have to be certified to prescribe it, and few are, making it very expensive. It's almost a conspiracy to keep people addicted to opiates. Most people want to quit using heroin and other opiates but are afraid of the extremely painful withdrawal. Cyboxin almost completely eliminates the withdrawal, making quitting possible where it wasn't before. MAKE THIS DRUG EASILY AVAILABLE, AND WATCH OPIATE DRUG USE FALL SIGNIFICANTLY!

I am in a situation where I attend a methadone treatment center,& I can't even get the info I need to get on Cyboxin. So who, where, how long it will take-as I need to switch so I can go on a family cruise since the methadone clinic won't allow vacation take home medication for phase 1 patients. So basically it's forcing me to become illicit & try to obtain enough to take on the cruise so I don't become sick.If anyone knows somewhere in the north alabama region that can help me out,OR even a doctor who will prescribe methadone tablets(just enough to get me through 5 days at 50 mgs per day)I'd appreciate it more than ya know.As I DONT want to me seedy,& have to obtain illcit methadone from the streets which plenty of the phase 2,3 & 4's provide at 1 dollar per mg!Yet the phase 1's who come 7 days a week, sat & sun, sleet, storm or snow just to avoida day of sickness.I TRULY have come to understand the term 'LIQUID HANDCUFFS'!

    Cyboxin/Methadone              Reply to this Comment
Hi, I have been on methadone (from clinic treatment) for 6 years now and am on monthly take homes. I know you sound like you resent us takehome guys, but I cannot beleive that your clinic will not give you vacation take homes. I went on a cruise myself after only being on treatment for two months. I was, of course, at that time still on level one and was coming to the clinic every day. However, after showing them my receipt and itenerary for the cruise, I was approved for vacation take homes. Have you spoken to your counselor about this? I cannot see them denying you, they know you cannot function for several days without it. What ever you do, do not say to them what you wrote in here about obtaining it off the streets for "saving" it up (if you do get a sunday take home). They will put it in your chart and it will follow you the whole time you are in the clinic. Are you still failing your drug tests? That would be the only thing I would see that would make them not want to give you your vacation take homes. I would obtain your clinic's main rules and regs and check the policy on vacation takehomes for yourself and not rely on what the nurses or counselors are telling you. Hope this helps! As for the cyboxin, I havent personally tried it, but have had others who switched from methadone to it tell me it didnt work and those people ended up right back at the clinic starting all over from day one and none of your previous time counts after you quit and restart a clinic.

I know of a friend that is seeing a clinic in Birmingham Alabama. He is ready to come off the cyboxin. He has done great. He has only been on it for 3 months. He said it is the best thing that has ever happened to him.

Cyboxin treatment for heroine addiction              Reply to this Comment
Where can you get this drug and why is it not prescribed more

    Cyboxin              Reply to this Comment
Can't believe you all have spelt it correctly! Uh, don't peole often get hooked on Cyboxin? I've tried it severalX by friends who were on it (I've mainly been on uppers). Some took it to ease the withdrawal, then went back on heroin. I guess it's a combination of USE and COMMITMENT. As it is with any recovery.

side effects of cyboxin?              Reply to this Comment
my brother says he's taking cyboxin to get off heroin. are there any known side effects? i'm trying to be supportive and i'd like to be as informed as possible

    cyboxin              Reply to this Comment
Is this drug illegal and would it make you fail drug tests

    cyboxin              Reply to this Comment
why would you think it illegal? #1 you're in a program, and on a program site, #2 you tell the drug test administrator what meds you are on anyways. #3 Why would doctors prescribe ILLEGAL drugs??????? #4 why can't you just TRY instead of relying on another DRUG?

    cyboxin              Reply to this Comment
#1 I DONT TAKE THIS DRUG. #2 I AM TRYING LIKE IVE NEVER TRIED BEFORE. #3 i was asking only for a friend. #4 i was only trying to find out more about this cyboxin and if it was a long term treatment or short term and if it were anything like methadone.

    suboxone              Reply to this Comment
you guys are spelling it wrong suboxone. i wrk in a treatment center and we use it to detow our clients. its the best thing they have ever came out with for opiate withdrawl.

    suboxone              Reply to this Comment
I was just asking about this suboxne because one of my closest friends is hooked on opiates and rehab doesnt work for her ay all she has been going to na meetings and counseling but that doesnt work for the withdrawls and cravings she has she over does her methadone and im scared for her. ive been clean for 15 mths i withdrawled in jail and now im in a program called drugcourt im doing great and i just want to help my friend. where is the closest treatment in kentucky?

    cyboxin              Reply to this Comment
Your # 2 says it all! but there is one thing I must say - there is no Try there is only DO. If you are clean, and have been for a while, then you aren't really trying, you are doing. Good luck. Just remember try for you and forget everyone else til you succeed. You are no good to anyone if you can't be good to yourself. That especially goes for CHILDREN.

    doing               Reply to this Comment
Yes I am doing but it is a struggle everyday and when someone comes to me wanting help ill be there for them when i help someone that only makes me stronger in my recovery . Ive been on opiates for 16 years of my life and it sucks and if i can help anyone i will.

    Suboxone              Reply to this Comment
Suboxone is a wonder drug and if used correctly can and will do what it is supposed to do. I have been on it for a month now and have had no side effects. You can get all the information that you need from the web site Suboxone.com

    Suboxone              Reply to this Comment
Suboxone is not illegal if prescribed by a certified doctor and used correctly. Suboxone is not detectable on drug screens given on site. Suboxone has to be tested for specifically by an outside laboratory and the lab has to know to test for it.
