teens are smart              Reply to this Comment
they are smart!and the sooner we{as parents} realize this we will be ok...I propose that teen{GROUP HOMES} be more aware of GODS!.love for them and the reasons for there out burst on life ..GOD!.created us so that we may live 4-ever{ST.MATTHEWS 18/3-6} and pray..what i have found out also is / teens are at times enbarrassed among there peers and ashamed of what there friends may say.thats what so hard about this is /not that they dont agree with it but,the world that we live in is always changing and we need to change with it but,at the same time keeping GOD! first and formost in our lifes.....Hope this will help some one..God Bless.

Do you have children? Stating that teens are smart isn't stating much. I think we are aware of their knowledge. Teens also think they are out-smarters. They assume they can outsmart their parents and do things they aren't supposed to do. I do not know what your intentions were stating teens are smart but it made very little sense to me.

i'm a teen and i live in a group home. its not pleasent at all.especially with my kind of past. groups homes do help some teens. the ones that are troubled and defiant against anything in life.but sometimes it just makes things worse. a teen for example has gone through abuse and that has been abandoned many times.that teen may feel more depressed because of alienation. then they runaway, find "bad company",follow unlawful things..... but that isn't our faults. we don't want to be living with strangers that might cut our throats if we say something wrong or if we don't even say anything at all. we want family and friends that cares for us.and when our parents resist us to group homes or are to messed up in the head and we are forced by the courts to be in a group home how do we feel. WE ARE WHO ARE PARENTS MADE US TODAY. we learned from them. just think about it. we are not trying to "out-smart" anyone.we are just trying to make our parents realize what they have forgotten about life.

Parents will never understand their children obviously they were born in another time period where things were very different. but you know wat teens are smart if you don't think so you must be crazy b/c many teens and everyone excel in different things and if you say teens aren't smart your just making fun of ur self . u were a teen once and we all made mistakes so to correct that statement 'teens are smart no matter what '

Looking for home for 15yr.old              Reply to this Comment
I would suggest you contact a church youth leader (it does not have to be your home church) to start. There are many sources in the church to help with this kind of problem.

15 year old boy              Reply to this Comment
What has happened to this young man? Does he still need help. He needs to have people willing to take care of him and love him. I have room and so does a few of my friends. You can't leave a child feeling alone or that no one wants him. Thats not a great way to start life.
