Thanks drugs&crime Reply to this Comment I'm asking about my daughter been who has been into drugs for close to ten years,as soon as she left home if not sooner.She is 28 now serving time in a correctional instution,only for 120 days.I don't believe this is enough time for her to change any habits that has accumulated in all these years.There has been times that I don't hear from her in 1-2years,but always hear from her when she has been arrested.I love my daughter but want the best for her,I want her to change,but is 120 days enough time for to correct her life without help.If not where can I go to get help for her.She can be in a crowd of 10000 people that are perfect she will find that one person that uses. I truly love him, but I am worried that my home is not suitable for him. He is an adult and wishes to live as one, but my overprotectiveness will not allow me to allow him to do so. He needs a good structured enviroment where he can interact with others, live as an adult, and some to ensure that he takes his prescription medication without coming on as the "badguy". please help if you have any information. thanks in advance Half way house for a young woman needed immediately Reply to this Comment I have a young woman who is my roommate, she has threatened suicide several times and she has only been living here for a couple of month. I have childrem and grandchild, i fear for them because i think she will get voilent with them. I have BPD and have finally found something called "Steps" which I start next week but am staying in an environment that is not at all conducive to my emotional healing an management. I am in Iowa right now but if I could find a place ANYwhere, in any state that would take me, I would go! I don't have a home of my own and through the past 15 years I have pretty much lost my entire family and don't know where to turn. He is a 25 y/o male who is very bright but paranoid and cannot live on his own. he would do well in community in a rural environment where he could live simply, work and relax. She needs to be in huse with supervision....preferrably with a medical staff. group home in Nebraska Reply to this Comment I am looking for a home/apartment situation for my daughter, 29 yrs. old. She is mildly mentally handicapped and needs a place where she would be safe, but still be with people her own age.
