I have a adult child that is on drugs. She has been in a rehab center for a week, self admitted. She want me to come pick her up. She tell me they are not helping her. She said there are no therapist to help her. Some one OD just the other day. She can get any drugs she wants in there. What do I do. If I go get her it is my fault she failed.

I'm having the same issue. I would not pick her up. She needs help from professionals. If she is able to obtain drugs at the facility I would look into placing her at a different place. From the places I myself and my daughter has been to they are very good on security and all items are checked. What type of policy does this place have on people bringing items in? Is she telling you the truth or just saying that so it will convince you to get her out of there? In any case, she has the choice to not use drugs. I would talk to her caseworker/social worker and voice your and your child's concerns about getting the help your child needs. Good Luck.
