Pathway Drug Abuse Program utilizes the Enthusiastic Approach based on the 12-Steps. Pathway is designed to help teenagers, young adults, and their families recover from the effects of drug and alcohol abuse. Pathway offers Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, and individual counseling services for the age groups of 13 to 17 and 18 to 25, ranging in length from 6 to 10 weeks. All treatment services provide individualized treatment plans and a comprehensive After Care plan to meet specific client needs. Pathway also offers parent support groups and young people support groups that involve 12-Step meetings, and sober social functions.
Pathway is licensed by the Arizona Department of Human Services and has a highly trained and effective counseling staff. Pathway does offer free evaluations and referral services. Substance abuse treatment- Substance abuse treatment is often individualized to each patient, but there are a few steps that each patient needs to take to become drug free. The first of these steps in recognizing the problem. Denial used to be mistakenly believed to be part of the drug addiction symptoms, but recent research is showing it is not. People trying to help a person accept that they have a substance abuse problem need to show empathy, and respect.

This program has had much media coverage because of it's "leader" Bob Meehan and many accusations of fraudulent documents and abuse of it's teenage clients. Bob Meehan preaches racism and hatred toward Christians. Search YouTube for Bob Meehan and you can find quite a bit of media coverage with Bob caught on tape.
