R-house has a history of high turnover with limited training for their counselors with succinct issues of having suicide, counselor client sexual conduct, coed sexual conduct, and same sex conduct.

This program does on the job training for it clients that often goes far beyond the length needed to train and doesn't pay their clients during that time. Child labor Much!

I will agree with the above statement. As a former employee of 4 years from 2003-2007 I have witnessed numerous licensing and safety violations. Violations included a night staff bringing in pornographic images of himself and displaying them to a bi-churious resident at the boys program. I kept a running tab for the 4 years of the violations and turned this list in to community care licensing. this resulted in hefty fines to r-house. I would not recommend this program to any one seeking rehabilitation. The program director Alex Hamberis has a habit of targeting Residents and Staff who do not fit his image of the perfect resident and/or staff. The same applies to Abraxis school director Randy Clay, who lives right next door to the program so he can keep an eye on the residents and the staff. bottom line, stay away from the R-House, bad news for you, they will shit on you the first chance they get. Not to mention they are going through staff like its going out of style.
