Here are two letters recently posted on our board host dated 4/30/2007 by Jade please read and forward with our petition I just wanted everyone to know that I am a victim of madison centers sexual and physical abuse.I am now 18 and I had been admitted to madison center in 2001 when I was 11 going on 12 yrs old I believe.I was admitted because my step father had molested me and they told my mother either she admitted me or she would be reported for neglect because I needed help. they told her I only had to stay for one week.Which I realy understood what had happened to me but I still do till this day dont think I needed their help. So upon being inside madison center for the 4 months I was there,I seen and felt some of the most horrifing things ever and remember I was only 11. also trying to recover from being molested myself I go somewhere that is suppose to offer me help and they molest me there also. After the 4 months in the adolesant unit (which is realy for 1 or 2 week recovery) they said I needed further help and transfered me to a catholic all girls home.There I stayed for 1 year.I just want anyone that reads this to know that you are not alone and I think we should all come forward and make a case.I also am still in contact with other girls this has happened to. I think now that I am old enough to do something about it that something needs to be done ...this can not go unherd..PLEASE if anyone wants to they may contact me xjadealeahx@aol.com PLEASE do not let this little girls plea for help go unherd Tammy Woodward 5/6/07 I was over medicated by Madison Center that cost me alot my children was taken away from me by cps. I gave all of the info. to cps and they did nothing. I fault for my life for 4 years and I can now say Thank you Madison Center for (PTSD). They shocked my brains many of times so I would not remember what happen to me and the Medications that they gave me. My children now have a change life b/c of Madison Center. It has been past two years and I can not sue them. But I am taking it to the state attourny and asking that the state take over Madison Center. When I frist went there I had private Insurance and when I could no longer work b/c of the over medication they gave me, Madison Center placed me on medicare if the state is paying this bill most of it they should run it. I have asked to have a meeting with Jack Roberts and he refuses b/c he is a coward and knows that his hospital is not up to stanards like it should be. The only money they get donate to them is the people that will get a kick back off of it. What will this community be like in three years if we keep over medicate people where they can no longer work. This community will then fall apart b/c everybody will be on state pay. I no longer go there. I fault the CPS to get my children back. If you feel you are over medicated go get a report of all of the medications that you are on and see a lawyer asap. I scream in my sleep at night b/c of what happen and I had to have surgery on my arm b/c of being tied down to a bed. my brain don't work that well any more b/c of the shock treatment that they made go thur. PLEASE DON"T SEND YOUR FAMILY THERE. Take a vacation it will be alot cheaper in the long run... They now feel I owe them $8,000.00 for what they did. It will be a cold day in hell before I pay Madison Center... (They say that they are a non-profit hospital ya right b/c the profit go's into their pockets..) please help stop the abuse by signing are petition
